To make tomato onion curry arabi vegetable, first wash and soak the arbi in salted water for 10 to 15 minutes
arbi - finely chopped(12)onion - chopped(1)salt - as per taste - 2
Drain and wash again

Dry it Now heat oil in a pan

Add arbi to it and cook till it becomes golden

Remove it on a paper towel and keep it aside

Heat a little more oil in the same pan

Add dry red chillies, asafetida, ginger, garlic paste and cook for 1 minute
ginger garlic paste(1 teaspoon)asafetida - a pinchgreen chillies - finely chopped(2)dry red chillies(2) - 8
Now add onion and cook till the onion becomes soft
onion - chopped(1) - 9
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, coriander powder and garam masala powder
turmeric powder(3/4 teaspoon)salt - as per tastered chili powder(3/4 teaspoon)garam masala powder(3/4 teaspoon)coriander powder(3/4 teaspoon) - 10
After 1 minute add tomatoes and green chilies and cook it for 3 minutes
tomatoes - chopped(2)red chili powder(3/4 teaspoon)green chillies - finely chopped(2) - 11
Now add arbi to it and mix well
arbi - finely chopped(12) - 12
Cover the pan and cook it for 6 to 8 minutes
