To begin with Bangaladumpa Thalimpu Recipe first, in a mixi jar add roasted gram,desiccated coconut,chilli powder,garlic, salt and grind to fine powder
salt - to tasteroasted gram dal (pottukadalai)(2 tablespoon)/2 dessicated coconut(1 tablespoon)red chilli powder(1/2 teaspoon)garlic - cloves(2) - 2
To a non-stick pan add oil followed by mustard seeds and red chillies add red chilli and allow it to fry
mustard seeds(1 teaspoon)dry red chillies(2)red chilli powder(1/2 teaspoon) - 3
Once the mustard seeds splutter add the chopped and boiled potatoes
potato (aloo) - boiled(400 grams)mustard seeds(1 teaspoon) - 4
Now add the spice powder and give it a good mix and allow it to cook for 4 - 5 minutes
red chilli powder(1/2 teaspoon) - 5
Check for the salt and spice and add more if you want according to your taste
salt - to taste - 6
