To make papad er dalan recipe, first wash and peel the potatoes

Now cut it in half and keep it aside

Now put tomatoes in a mixer grinder and puree them

Now heat oil in a pan

Add potatoes and cook till it turns golden

Now divide the papad into 4 parts and fry them in the remaining oil

Take out the papad and keep it aside

Add the bay leaves, dry red chillies, cumin seeds to the remaining oil in the same pan and cook until the cumin seeds crackle

Now add tomato puree to it and cook it for 3 to 4 minutes

Now add ginger to it and cook for 2 to 3 minutes

Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin powder and 1 teaspoon of water and cook it well for 3 to 4 minutes

Add sugar, salt and cook for 1 minute

Add the fried potatoes, 1-1 / 2 cups of water, mix and cover the pan

Cook till the potatoes are cooked well

Now add fried papads, mix and cook for 3 to 4 minutes

Add lid, garam masala, ghee from the pan, cook for 2 more minutes and turn off the gas
