  1. 1

How to make it: Prepare the pasta according to package directions; drain and let cool for a few minutes.

  2. 2

Mix the pasta, vegetables and tomatoes together.

  3. 3

Toss the whole thing with the fat-free dressing. (You can use as much or as little as you like, but make sure that you use at least enough to coat the pasta, or it will stick together in an ugly and congealed lump!) Now it's time to be creative.

  4. 4

Add whatever seasonings you want (minced fresh garlic, sundried tomatoes, Parmesan or Romano cheese, crushed red pepper, salt or pepper, Miranda's xxx hot sauce, olives, ???)! Store in a Tupperware type container, and it will keep for about a week.

Since it is good for lunches, in pita pockets or on picnics, it might not last that long! *Any short shaped pasta will do.

  6. 6

I like the rotini, because it is so colorful and it can be found in any supermarket.

**I say tomatoes, but you can say other vegetables you like but don't want to cook.

Diced cucumber is also good, and so is shredded carrot.
