In a medium bowl, combine all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, soda, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and salt.

In a big bowl, toss together chopped apples and egg substitute.

Stir in sugar, 1/4 cup nuts and applesauce.

Add flour mixture and stir just enough to mix it.

Pour batter into a 9-inch round baking pan.

For topping, stir together brown sugar, rest of the flours and the cinnamon.

Sprinkle over the batter and bake in a 350° oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick stuck in the center comes out clean.
