    To prepare Matar Aur Chilke Ka Sabzi (Peas & Peel Stir Fry Recipe), Wash the green pea pods

    Take out the peas from the pods in a bowl and keep aside

    Break the tip and the bottom of each pod peel and discard the long fibrous membrane in them

    Chop each pea pod in the middle, to bite size

    Chop the white part of spring onion lengthwise and the green part into 1-2 inch pieces

    Heat the oil in a kadai and add panch phoron

    When the seeds begin to splutter add chopped white part of the spring onion

    Stir fry a bit

    Then add chopped peels of green pea pods, spring onion greens and half of the green peas extracted from the pods

    Add in turmeric powder, chopped green chilies and salt
