To make puli kirai, firstly fry the spinach and wash it well
spinach(200 grams) - 2
Now add spinach, green chilies, salt, sugar and mix in a pressure cooker
spinach(200 grams)sugar - a pinchgreen chilli(4)salt - as per use - 3
Add tamarind and some water to it
tamarind - a little - 4
Cook till 1 city comes

Allow the pressure to drain and keep the spinach separately

Put the spinach mixture in a blender and grind it

Take out in a bowl

Now heat oil in a pan
oil(1 teaspoon) - 9
Add mustard seeds and let it cook for 10 seconds
mustard(1/2 teaspoon) - 10
After that add chana dal and cook till it turns light brown

Add this tempering to the spinach mixture and mix

Serve Puli Kirai with Beetroot Thoran and Rice for dinner
