Mix sugar and sour cream together.
sour cream(1/2 cup)sugar(1 1/2 cup) - 2
Let come to a full boil that you cannot stir down.

Boil on medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat, add vanilla and stir 2 or 3 times.

Add nuts and stir rapidly until nuts are well coated and sugared.

Pour out on cookie sheet.

Separate nuts so they will not stick together.
