To begin making the Javarichya Lahyancha Chivda, first, heat oil in a heavy bottom Wok/Kadai

Add the mustard seeds, curry leaves and once they crackle add the cumin seeds, once the cumin seeds sizzle, add the asafoetida, and groundnuts
jowar seeds - popped(2 cups)mustard seeds(1 tablespoon)cumin seeds (jeera)(1 tablespoon)curry leaves(12)asafoetida (hing)(1/2 teaspoon) - 3
Cook for a few minutes till the groundnuts are fried well

Turn off the flame and add the red chilli powder, turmeric powder, Maharashtrian goda masala, sugar, and salt
maharashtrian goda masala - optional(1/2 teaspoon)sugar - powdered(1 teaspoon)red chilli powder(1/2 tablespoon)turmeric powder (haldi)(1 teaspoon)salt - to taste - 5
Mix and add the popped jowar, until grains are well coated

Cool and store in an airtight container
