Kadai Chicken Recipe - Chicken Cooked With Onion And Capsicum

To begin making the Kadai Chicken Recipe, heat a heavy bottomed pan/wok with oil
chicken breasts - cut into chunks(300 grams) - 2
Once it becomes hot, add cumin seeds and allow it to splutter
cumin seeds (jeera)(1 teaspoon) - 3
Add dry red chillies and saute till it crisp up
dry red chilli(2)teaspoons red chilli powder(2) - 4
Add ginger, garlic and allow it soften
inch ginger - chopped(1)cloves garlic - chopped(4) - 5
Add sliced and diced onions and saute till they soften and caramelize
onion - sliced(1)onion - diced(1)green bell pepper (capsicum) - diced(1) - 6
Add bell peppers and cook till they become a little soft
green bell pepper (capsicum) - diced(1) - 7
Once that is done, add cup of tomato puree and keep cooking till the tomatoes are well cooked
homemade tomato puree(1 cup) - 8
This will take about 4 to 5 minutes

After 4 to 5 minutes, add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, salt and cook for another 3 minutes
dry red chilli(2)teaspoons red chilli powder(2)turmeric powder (haldi)(1/4 teaspoon)garam masala powder(2 teaspoon)salt - to taste - 10
Add chicken pieces and saute well till the masala is coated evenly over the chicken
chicken breasts - cut into chunks(300 grams)garam masala powder(2 teaspoon) - 11
The chicken will take about 15 to 20 minutes to cook

At the end, add a tablespoon of cream and mix well
fresh cream(1 tablespoon) - 13
Serve hot by garnishing it with coriander leaves
sprig coriander (dhania) leaves - chopped(2) - 14
