    Now add green chilli, curry leaves, turmeric powder and crack open the egg and scramble it for about half a minute

    Once the eggs are nicely scrambled, add the crumbled puttu

    rice puttu - or wheat puttu(1 cup)

    Add salt and mix well

    salt - to taste

    Sprinkle some water and mix well

    Close with a lid and cook on low flame for a minute

    This will make the puttu softer
