
Stuffed Mussels Recipe
A non-veg Indian recipe with mussels - big ones, onion - finely chopped, green chilli - finely chopped. Ready in 30 min, serves 3.

To begin making the Stuffed Mussels recipe, open the mussels and remove the meat out
mussels - big ones(30) - 2
Wash and keep around 15-20 shells to stuff later

In a medium wok, kept on medium heat, add oil and saute garlic and onions till onions become translucent
onion - finely chopped(1)cloves garlic - minced or grated(4) - 4
Add green chilies, thyme, red chili powder and fry for few more seconds
green chilli - finely chopped(1)red chilli powder(1 teaspoon)turmeric powder (haldi)(1/2 teaspoon)dried thyme leaves - optional(1/2 teaspoon) - 5
Add mussel meat, cover and cook on medium heat for 7-8 minutes

Sprinkle turmeric powder and mix
red chilli powder(1 teaspoon)turmeric powder (haldi)(1/2 teaspoon) - 7
Add ketchup, mix and remove from heat
tomato ketchup(1/2 tablespoon) - 8
Take a teaspoon of mixture and scoop into each of the mussel shells

Place all the stuffed shells on a baking pan

Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on each of the stuffed shells and broil for about 4 minutes at 350 degree Fahrenheit
parmesan cheese - for garnishing (optional) - 11
Remove out and serve immediately
