To begin making the Sorakaya Kura Recipe we will keep a pressure cooker on medium heat, add oil and leave it get hot

Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and allow it splutter for 10 seconds
mustard seeds(1 teaspoon)cumin seeds (jeera)(1 teaspoon) - 3
Add curry leaves, hing, and leave the curry leaves to crackle for 10 seconds
sprig curry leaves(1) - 4
Add in the chopped tomatoes and saute well till it becomes mushy
tomatoes - chopped(2)green chilli - chopped(2) - 5
Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, pepper powder, salt, green chilli, chopped bottle gourd and soaked toor dal
bottle gourd (lauki) - cut into small pieces(2 cups)arhar dal (split toor dal) - soaked for 30 minutes(1 cup)tomatoes - chopped(2)green chilli - chopped(2)black pepper powder(1 teaspoon)turmeric powder (haldi)(1/2 teaspoon)red chilli powder(1/2 teaspoon) - 6
Give the ingredients a stir and add 2 cups of water

Cook it for 4 whistle

Allow the pressure to release by itself and open the lid, give it a stir and check for salt and serve

Serve the Sorakaya Kura Recipe along with Tawa Paratha ,or Phulka along with a Carrot And Beans Thoran to go along with your meal
