  1. 1

Be daring! Having a night when you don't want to cook? It's hot and you don't want to be stuck in the kitchen? Well, this is the dish to whip up in about 15 minutes.

  2. 2

Raid your refrigerator and find those vegetables that you bought and just have not gotten around to cooking.

  3. 3

Anything goes! Okay here goes! Find a wok or wok-type frypan.

  4. 4

On a slow, medium flame, add 1 tablespoon oil and let it get hot. (Do not use vegetable oil; olive or peanut oil is fine.) Add your meat or fish first; this takes longer to cook.

  5. 5

Stir constantly and be sure to keep this from sticking.

  6. 6

If it does, add a touch of water, soy or teriyaki sauce.

  7. 7

    Cook for about 5 minutes.

  8. 8

Make sure that all surfaces are cooked.

  9. 9

Leave this in the pan and push up towards sides.

  10. 10

If you are not comfortable with this, take meat or fish out and place on the side.

  11. 11

Now, take your onion and peppers and let them fry up in the same oil.

Shortly after, add the other vegetables and turn up the flame a little bit.

  13. 13

Be careful to stir and keep from burning! To this you may add a quick shake of soy or teriyaki sauce and an even quicker, shorter shake of ginger and garlic.

  14. 14

When vegetables appear softer and cooked, finalize by re-adding the meat or fish, if taken out of the pan.

If not, now is the time to mix everything together.

Serve immediately over white rice for a delightful dinner.

Note: You may add as much or as little soy or teriyaki sauce as you like.
