To begin making the Matta Rice Peas Pulao Recipe, pressure cook the matta rice with 4 cups of water in pressure cooker for about 6 whistle till they are just cooked

Heat a kadai with ghee, add the whole spice like cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks, bay leaf and cumin seeds and allow them to splutter
cardamom (elaichi) pods/seeds(2)inch cinnamon stick (dalchini)(1)bay leaf (tej patta)(1)teaspoons cumin seeds (jeera)(2)ghee - for cooking - 3
Add green peas, and fry them for 10 seconds
green peas (matar)(1 cup) - 4
Add the cooked rice and stir well, sprinkle salt and sugar according to your taste

Mix everything well and let it cook for 2 more minutes
