To begin making the Spiced Cauliflower And Almond Soup recipe, rinse and wash cauliflower
cauliflower (gobi)(1) - 2
Chop roughly

(I have used blanched almonds here, you can use plain almonds too
badam (almond) - blanched(1/2 cup) - 4
)Heat olive oil in a large sauce pan
extra virgin olive oil(2 tablespoon) - 5
Add cauliflower florets and roast until the florets start to brown
cauliflower (gobi)(1) - 6
Now add harissa paste, all the spice powder and salt to taste, mix
harissa paste(3 tablespoon)cumin powder (jeera)(1 teaspoon)coriander powder (dhania)(1 teaspoon)cinnamon powder (dalchini)(1/2 teaspoon)salt - to tasteblack pepper powder - to taste - 7
Cook for a minute

Add blanched almonds and cook for another minute
badam (almond) - blanched(1/2 cup) - 9
Add vegetable stock (or even chicken stock if you are non vegetarian), cover the pan with lid and bring it to boil
vegetable stock(2 cups) - 10
When the cauliflower florets gets cooked fully, using a hand blender blend until smooth
cauliflower (gobi)(1) - 11
Add pepper powder, mix
cumin powder (jeera)(1 teaspoon)coriander powder (dhania)(1 teaspoon)cinnamon powder (dalchini)(1/2 teaspoon)black pepper powder - to taste - 12
Check for seasoning and adjust accordingly
