A gluten free South Indian Recipes recipe with basmati rice - soaked in water for 20 minutes, onion - chopped (lengthwise preferably), green chilli - slit. Ready in 50 min, serves 2.

To prepare Ghee Rice Recipe | Neychoru, in a pan/Pressure cooker add in a tbsp of ghee and fry the Raisins apricot and Cashew nuts and set aside
basmati rice - soaked in water for 20 minutes(1 cup)ghee(1 tablespoon)cashew nuts - broken(4)raisins(2) - 2
In the Same pan add in a quarter portion of the sliced Onions and fry till dark brown set that also aside
onion - chopped (lengthwise preferably)(1) - 3
In the same pan add in another tbsp

of Ghee and then add in Fennel Seeds, Cinnamon sticks, Star Anise, Green Cardamom, Clove and Bay Leaves once they emits a nice flavour add in the Slit Green Chillies and fry for a minute
green chilli - slit(2)ghee(1 tablespoon)fennel seeds (saunf)(1 teaspoon)star anise(1)cardamom (elaichi) pods/seeds - crushed(2) - 5
Next add in the remaining sliced onion and fry till they become golden brown
onion - chopped (lengthwise preferably)(1) - 6
Next add in the Ginger Garlic paste and fry till the saw smell leaves and next add in the Soaked Basmati Rice
basmati rice - soaked in water for 20 minutes(1 cup)ginger garlic paste(1 tablespoon) - 7
Fry it well for about 5 minutes in low flame
basmati rice - soaked in water for 20 minutes(1 cup) - 8
Mix well and add the measured water now you can keep the stove in a high flame add in required salt and mix well
basmati rice - soaked in water for 20 minutes(1 cup)salt - as needed-/4 water - (adjust)(1 cup) - 9
Add in the remaining 1 tbsp of Ghee and once the water starts to boil close the cooker and cook for a whistle
basmati rice - soaked in water for 20 minutes(1 cup)ghee(1 tablespoon)star anise(1)-/4 water - (adjust)(1 cup) - 10
Wait till the pressure gets released by itself and then open the cooker
