Wheat Grass Rasam Recipe

To begin making the Wheat Grass Rasam recipe, wash the wheat grass thoroughly
wheat grass(100 grams)-/2 rasam powder(1 teaspoon) - 2
Soak Tamarind in water and take the juice out of it
tamarind(20 grams)water - as required - 3
Blend wheat grass and tamarind water
wheat grass(100 grams)tamarind(20 grams)water - as required - 4
Add additional water if needed but do not go beyond 500 ml
water - as required - 5
Strain the wheat grass juice and throw the extra fibre which comes out after straining
wheat grass(100 grams) - 6
Take a heavy bottomed pan and add hing, tomatoes, wheat grass & tamarind juice, turmeric, salt, curry leaves and allow it to boil
wheat grass(100 grams)cherry tomatoes(8)tamarind(20 grams)turmeric powder (haldi)(1/4 teaspoon)curry leaves - fewcoriander (dhania) leaves - fewsalt - to taste - 7
Once it is boiling, add rasam powder and switch off the gas once it becomes frothy
-/2 rasam powder(1 teaspoon)turmeric powder (haldi)(1/4 teaspoon) - 8
Add ghee in a tadka pan and add, mustard seeds, red chilli, garlic and cumin seeds and add them to the rasam
-/2 rasam powder(1 teaspoon)mustard seeds(1/2 teaspoon)cloves garlic(2)cumin seeds (jeera)(1/2 teaspoon)dry red chilli(1) - 9
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot
curry leaves - fewcoriander (dhania) leaves - few - 10
Serve Wheat Grass Rasam with hot steamed rice and Cauliflower Thoran for a comfort meal
