Sago Khichdi Recipe (Savory Tapioca Pearls Stir Fry)

To begin making the Sago Khichdi recipe, soak Sago (sabudana) in water for 4-5 hours
sabudana (tapioca pearls)(1 cup) - 2
As it gets soft and is puffed up it is ready for use

Drain all the water and let sago dry other wise it will stick and become lumpy

Heat oil in a wok and add peanuts
raw peanuts (moongphali)(1/4 cup) - 5
Roast them till they change their colour to brown

To this add potatoes, tomatoes, green chillies and sauté for about 5-8 minutes till the potatoes become soft
potato (aloo) - boiled(1)tomato - finely chopped(1)green chilli - finely chopped(1) - 7
After 5-8 minutes, add sabudana, salt and chopped coriander
sabudana (tapioca pearls)(1 cup)coriander (dhania) leaves - chopped(1 teaspoon)salt - as required (kala namaktomato - finely chopped(1)green chilli - finely chopped(1) - 8
Mix everything well

Switch off the flame and add lemon juice, pomegranate kernels and toss up carefully
lemon juice(1 teaspoon) - 10
Serve Sago Khichdi on its own or with any raita of your choice
