    To begin making Vellarikka Kosumalli Recipe, in a large mixing bowl add cucumber, carrots, coriander leaves, green chillies, salt to taste and lemon juice and stir and combine everything well

    Now heat a tadka pan and add 1 teaspoon oil

    Once the oil is hot add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and once they crackle add the chana dal and urad dal, once the dals have turned golden brown in colour add the dry red chillies and curry leaves

    green chilli - finely chopped(1)coriander (dhania) leaves - chopped(1/4 cup)cumin seeds (jeera)(1 teaspoon)chana dal (bengal gram dal)(1 teaspoon)white urad dal (split)(1 teaspoon)dry red chillies - halved(2)sprig curry leaves(1)

    Saute everything for a few seconds and turn of the heat

    Add the tempering into the Vellarikka Kosumalli and combine
